Protecting CUI at NMSU with the Physical Science Laboratory

Welcome to New Mexico State University's dedicated platform on Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) management in collaboration with NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. CMMC is important for NMSU.

CMMC Level 2 contains 110 individual controls in 14 categories with multiple requirements for each control.

CMMC requires a high level of documentation and standards adherence.

Failure to meet CMMC requirements could result in loss of contracts, grants, or even the ability to apply for the entire University.
